5. ConsoleUser¶
Skaion’s ConsoleUser is a host activity generator. It emulates a human to interact with a real OS and applications, which in turn produce observable (often) effects.
Any network traffic it produces is a side-effect of these interactions, and thus this tool is not suited to packet-injection or similar strategies. However, it requires no modification to the host environment (in many situations) that are not purely cosmetic like setting a particular screen resolution and desktop theme. This makes it very useful for any test that uses host-based sensors.
